Longview - Dottice Marie Heiner went to be with her Lord on July 12, 2026 after a very short illness. She was born on September 26, 1937 the first child of Ernest and Lowene

(Lewis) Keiski, Dottice grew up in Stringtown on a small farm and attended Ilwaco Schools until her graduation in 1955.

Dottice worked as a bookkeeper for Doupe's for 18 years and two more years for the new owners. She worked a short time as bookkeeper for the Ilwaco Boat Works and for

Les Peterson's Vandalia Development.

In 1963 Dottice married Michael Elliott and was blessed with a son, Jon Mark Elliott. They later divorced and Dottice met and married Robert E. Heiner in 1972. They were married for 42 years until Bob's death in 2014. Her marriage to Bob gave her a much

loved young adult daughter, Belinda Rimlinger, husband Don and a son Gary Heiner, wife Addie. From them she has four grandchildren, Kellie Heiner Sifton, husband Eric; Keith Heiner, wife Ana; Dutch and Tina Jones; twelve great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Dottice is also survived by sister Marcia Glasson, husband Ross and their children David Glasson, wife Becki and their children Ross David, Krista, Katie, and Rachel;

Daryl Glasson and daughter Eliza; Her brother Ernest, wife Debbie, and their children, Becky Keiski Weeks, husband Kendall and son Tyler; Jason Keiski, wife Kelly and children, Hunter, Logun and Billy, and two great-grandchildren.

Through Mark's marriage to Lynn, Dottice gained another granddaughter, Kacey, husband Joey and children Lily and Theo.

She also has two nephews, Randy Bloom, wife Teri, and children Michelle, husband Larry Kemmer and Michael Doan. wife Kim; Cary Bloom, wife Melanie and two

children Mac and Molly.

Dottice was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, sister Patti and brother-in-law Max Bloom and Mark's wife, Lynn Elliott.

Dottice was a member of the Coffee Breakers Bowling League, the Fraternity Rebekah Lodge and the Chinook Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was the Treasurer for many years and a part of the "fun group" of Wednesday quilters.

She enjoyed her trips with sister Marcia to softball tournaments, trips with Bob and brother Ernest and wife Debbie in their fifth wheels. Summers were spent with grandson Keith traveling and exploring and occasionally with granddaughter Kellie and niece

Becky. Dottice especially enjoyed trips to Maui, Arizona and California to visit Bob's children. Great times were spent babysitting and spending time with great-nephew Ross David. She liked gardening, mowing her huge lawn, reading, quilting and crocheting and making stepping stones that grace many a local pathway and garden.

Dottice will be remembered as an excellent seamstress (making Dot's Dolls and clothes for grandchildren and nieces). Also for her creamy, cheesy mashed potatoes for after church luncheons and family gatherings and yummy roast and turkey dinners.

Dottice was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend and her presence will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15 at the Chinook Lutheran Church at

1:00.
