Jack R Nicholson 85, of Knappa died Saturday July 18, 2026.
He was born on April 17,1941 in Missouri to Marie and Armond Nicholson.
Jack "Ronnie" graduated from Jewell High School in 1959 and was a logger for Crown Zellerbach. He later joined the US Army in 1965. Jack worked for Crown Zellerbach now Georgia Pacific as a heavy equipment operator for 34 years before retiring.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gold mining across Oregon, Alaska, and California. He also loved camping with family and friends. He was a devoted father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sons Mark (Tina) Nicholson and Neil (Erica) Nicholson; grandchildren Teresa, Emily, Cody Nicholson; Dakota, Brantley Nicholson and Addison, Saphira Pietila; stepson Glen Gaither; brother Nick (Maryanne) Nicholson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by stepdaughter Teresa Vanderburg; brother Bill Nicholson; and sister Judy Berg.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at:
