Astoria, Oregon - Judi Parke of Astoria passed away at Clatsop Retirement village. She was 78. She was born in Eugene OR the daughter of William and Ellen Barr. She graduated from Willamette high school. She worked at various places and migrated to Astoria where she settled. She worked in the forestry department where she met Tom Parke. They were married on June 1st, 1985, just celebrated 40 years. They married at Grace Community Baptist church where they were members. They were also members of North Coast Family fellowship. After Judi retired she volunteered at Liberty theater, the Pregnancy Center, and the animal shelter. They enjoyed traveling to Sunriver, Maui, Cabo and New Mexico. She loved to craft, decorate, collect various trinkets, and read. She loved animals and children. Judi is survived by her spouse Tom Parke of Astoria OR, sister-in-law Marilyn Bethman, of Corvallis OR, niece Jennifer Martin of Springfield OR and several other family members. In addition to her family, she is survived by many dear friends who were like family to her. Judi is preceded in death by her father William Barr and mother Ellen Barr of Eugene OR, brother-in-law David Bethman of Corvallis OR and nephew Michael Bethman of Albany OR.

She is now at peace in the loving arms of the Lord.

There will be a service on January 24th at 1pm to 4pm at Grace Community Baptist Church, 1195 Irving Ave, Astoria OR 97103.
