Portland, OR - Marjorie Ann Boettcher ('nee Donovan) of Knappa, Oregon, died peacefully in the early hours of June 26, 2025. She will be greatly missed.
Marjorie was born February 1, 1938, in Warrenton, OR, to James and Mertie ('nee Graham) Donovan. The youngest of the family, she was welcomed into the world by her nine older siblings.
A lifelong Clatsop County resident, Marjorie graduated from Astoria High School in 1955.
On July 8, 1956, Marjorie married the love of her life, Richard Boettcher. They soon welcomed a son and a daughter. The couple remained as tightly bonded as they began until Marjorie's passing.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, and nine siblings. She is survived by her husband, her son, Daniel Boettcher, her daughter, Tina (Blaine) Vernon, and her grandchildren.
