Seaside, Oregon - Born in Wahoo Nebraska, Nita Jones Thomson was daughter to Leon and Edna Hamilton. The family moved to Portland Oregon when she was five. In Portland Nita attended Laurelhurst grade school, then Grant High School. Nita attended the University of Oregon prior to her career as a mother, then as a Juvenile Court Counselor. She was predeceased by two husbands, John

Paul in 1973, and David in 2016 as well as her two siblings, Wayne and Wilma.

In Nita's retirement years she lived in Seaside Oregon. She is survived by four children and one stepson, six grandchildren, and one great- granddaughter. She was an avid reader who enjoyed a local book club. She took pride in her home and her appearance. Nita will be

remembered by her children and grandchildren as a kind, loving, and thoughtful gem of a human being. She will be missed terribly and will remain forever in our hearts and thoughts.

August 22 at 1:00 pm for family and friends.
