Astoria - Patricia Elder, known to many as "Momma Pat", passed away on May 26, 2025, in Astoria, Oregon, where she was born, raised, and lived her entire life. She was 76 years old.

A lifelong member of the Astoria community, Patricia worked a variety of jobs throughout her life. In high school, she worked at Astoria Column, and later held positions at Union Fish Cannery, Thompson Seafood, Columbia Federal Bank, and the Astoria Aquatic Center. She also volunteered with the Astoria School District, always ready to support her community.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Elder; her children, Peter Elder, Scott Elder, and Sarah Elder; her daughter in law, Brandi Elder; her son in law, Dusty Elder; and her grandson, Zachary Elder.

Patricia will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
