Warrenton, Or - Robert (Bob) Allen Gauthier, 92 passed peacefully on May 18, 2025, at Clatsop Memory Care in Warrenton, Oregon.

Bob was born in Astoria, Oregon on August 27, 1932, to Paul Phillip Gauthier and Ellen Willamina Niukkanen. Bob graduated from Astoria High School in 1952, he was a star athlete in basketball, track and football.

Bob attended Linfield College from 1952 to 1955 where he met the love of his life, Priscilla Ann Tennis. The two love birds married on February 10, 1956.

Bob served in the U.S. National Guard from 1952-1955, served in the U.S. Army 1955-1957 as an EMT and was stationed in Chinon, France, and started a family with their first-born Janet Ellaine.

They return to Astoria in 1957, and had three more children, Phillip Robert, Carol Ann and Richard William. Bob worked various jobs from 1957 to 1966 when he became a longshoremen with ILWU Local 50. Bob retired in 1994 from longshoring.

Once both Bob and Priscillia retired, they traveled via airplane and 5th wheel to many places across the U.S. and into Europe and Asia. They enjoyed all the places they visited and have many photo albums of their memories.

Dad, we think you lived a great life and brought joy to many. He was a jokester and had a great attitude to life. He worked hard and provided a great home life for his children. Dad, we are going to miss you, and we know you are at peace with mom and family members that went before you.

Bob is survived by his wife and children; Alice Marie (Wife) Warner-Gauthier, Portland Or,

Janet Morrell, Astoria, Phillip (Kari) Gauthier, Astoria, Carol (Thomas) Kibler, Chelan, WA, Richard Gauthier (Imelda) Astoria, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, Dolores Gauthier (Sister), Eugene Or, many nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death; Priscilla (wife), Ellen (Mother) Kotewa, Paul Phillip (Father) Gauthier, Paul (brother) Gauthier, Norman (brother) Niukkanen.

Thank you to Clatsop Memory Care for their care and kindness for our dad. A family gathering will be held at a later date. Interment will be held privately.
