In Loving Memory of Yvonne Margaret Brown. Yvonne Margaret Brown of Seaview, Washington, passed away peacefully in her home on March 22, 2025. She was born on September 2, 1937, in Portland, Oregon, to Leroy "Ed" Parsons (Cable TV Inventor, Astoria, Oregon) and Elizabeth "Betty" Rova.
Yvonne grew up in Astoria and Portland alongside her beloved brother, Mark. She met her husband, Lynn Brown, at Cape Disappointment, Washington. Together, they embarked on a life of adventure, living in various locations across the United States due to Lynn's service in the United States Coast Guard, including a memorable tour at Destruction Island.
In retirement, Yvonne and Lynn made homes in Lakeside and Gilchrist, Oregon. After Lynn's passing, Yvonne divided her time between Desert Hot Springs, California, and Seaview, Washington, places she cherished deeply.
Yvonne was a vibrant and creative spirit who found joy in line dancing, painting, and other artistic pursuits. She played the ukulele and piano and had a deep love for travel, with the Far East holding a special place in her heart. Yvonne was active in her Church and community. Above all, Yvonne adored her family, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Yvonne is preceded by her husband, Lynn Minor Brown and her son, Clark Brown. She is survived by her brother, Mark, and his wife, Chris; her children, Lorraine (spouse Jan), Lynnda (spouse Terry), Casey, Dakota, Loretta (spouse Vance), and Curtis (spouse Kristen); her grandchildren, Angela, Amy, Jacob, Julia, Andrea, Camila, Nathan, Mitchell, Chris, Kody, Jacqueline, Roxanne, Amaris, and Justin; and numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom she treasured deeply. She always said, "I quit counting at 30 Great Grand Children."
Yvonne's life was a testament to love, creativity, and family, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
